Evaluation for open evening.
During open evening I helped out with the photo-booth however, we put on a number of activities and performances throughout the night. These include:
-
Bands
 -
Tours
 -
Photobooth
 -
Graffiti wall
 -
Map
 -
Film

HEALTH + SAFETY
-
Wires could be a trip hazard
 -
Fire escape access
 -
Noise levels

OVERALL
-
Everyone was very tired as we had been in college the whole day.
 -
All the activities were based in the main foyer should have been more spread out.
 -
Communicate more as a group.

BANDS:
-
Should have had a soundcheck and run through, the bands didn't really know what was going on.
 -
The Crave were very professional..
 -
Speakers were too loud too be able to hear what the visitors as they came in
 -
Instead have a DJ- a mix of genres.

TOURS
-
Students helped out and provided good information to visitors.

PHOTOBOOTH
-
Not many people wanted to take part as they were with their parents, rather than it being a fun activity with friends.
 -
Set up well and looked professional.
 -
Would have worked well in a different setting.
 -
If to be done again, do it in the Theatre bar where there is less people so visitors taking part wouldn't be embarrassed.

GRAFFITI WALL
-
Overall very positive, it was inviting so lots of students took part.
 -
Good chance to talk to people.

MAP
-
Looked professional and had a lot of interest from visitors.
 -
Could have been bigger and on the wall rather than on a table.
 -
Could include quotes from the college students.

FILM
-
Tour of music and theatre department day to day life.
 -
Didn't actually get shown on the evening.
