PROJECT 2 PROPOSAL
For project 2, Grace and I decided to work together to do our own club night. We both enjoy the same kind of music and agreed we would work well together. We also both attended Nass festival in July, when talking about our festival memories, the Silent Disco was a highlight of both of our times there. Inspired by this we decided to make our club night a silent disco. We thought this would interest people as it isn't your usual night out and because of the different channels on the headphones it offers different genres of music for different people.

Using the silent disco from Nass as our inspiration we started to plan how our silent disco would work. We wanted to have two separate DJ's, both connected to a different channel on the headphones. The DJs would battle it out to see who would have the most people listening to their channel. However, we realised that hiring a silent disco set can cost a lot of money and also if any headphones are lost or damaged we would have to pay. We decided to scrap the silent disco, see how our first event went first and consider the silent disco idea in the future.
We decided to go with a jungle theme for our club night as we both enjoy jungle music. We also had the idea that the dress code should be jungle themed as well. This would make our club event stand out from others as it adds a fun element of dressing up.
I have been to a couple of Jungle club nights in the past. Most of these are organised 'by Jungle Cakes' or 'Worried about Henry' so I have used these as inspiration.
